Salesforce Business Analyst Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a salesforce business analyst in Texas?
The most direct path is earning a Salesforce Administrator certification, which Texas employers treat as the baseline credential for business analyst roles. No state-issued license applies to this role in Texas. Most candidates pair the certification with a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, then build hands-on experience through Trailhead projects, internships, or junior admin roles before stepping into a full analyst position.
How much do salesforce business analysts make in Texas?
Salesforce business analysts in Texas earn a median of about $107,390 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $72,530 for the lowest 10% to over $168,140 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire salesforce business analysts in Texas?
Employers hiring salesforce business analysts in Texas right now include Salesforce, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and American Heart Association, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's large enterprise headquarters in financial services, telecommunications, and healthcare make it one of the most consistent states for sustained Salesforce hiring outside of major coastal markets.
Which Texas cities have the most salesforce business analyst jobs?
Austin, Dallas, and Addison lead Texas for salesforce business analyst openings. Dallas-Fort Worth dominates due to its dense concentration of corporate headquarters, financial services firms, and large technology employers, while Austin's fast-growing tech sector and Houston's energy and healthcare industries each drive meaningful demand in their own right.
Are there remote salesforce business analyst jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields, because salesforce business analyst work is inherently desk-based and platform-driven. About 7% of salesforce business analyst openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how well the role adapts to distributed teams. Requirements-gathering, documentation, and configuration work are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a salesforce business analyst in Texas with little or no experience?
Completing the free Salesforce Trailhead learning paths and earning the Salesforce Administrator certification is the single most realistic entry move for candidates without professional experience. In Texas, large employers such as AT&T, USAA, and major health systems like Baylor Scott and White regularly bring in associate business analysts and Salesforce admin trainees from adjacent roles in operations, customer support, or data entry. Building a portfolio of Trailhead Superbadges and a developer org project gives hiring managers something concrete to evaluate before experience accumulates.
Where can I find and apply to salesforce business analyst jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to salesforce business analyst jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across the state's major metros and remote positions tied to Texas employers. Find roles that fit your experience and specialization and apply directly from the listing.
