Entry Level Senior Asset Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level senior asset manager job?
Entry level senior asset manager roles typically look for candidates with a relevant degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field, along with internship experience or coursework in asset valuation, portfolio analysis, or property management. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with asset tracking software give candidates a clear edge at this stage. Highlighting any hands-on project work or internships in your application strengthens your case.
Which companies hire entry level senior asset managers?
Companies hiring entry level senior asset managers right now include Goldman Sachs, Nordstrom, and Walmart, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from real estate investment firms, financial services companies, infrastructure funds, and corporate asset management teams that build junior talent pipelines through structured entry-level programs.
Are there remote entry level senior asset manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles are still common in this field. About 6% of entry level senior asset manager openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting demand from firms with distributed teams or technology-driven asset portfolios. Hybrid arrangements are especially common at larger financial institutions and real estate companies where some site visits are still expected.
Are these new grad senior asset manager jobs?
Yes, many of these listings are new grad and junior roles that welcome recent graduates and candidates with little to no professional experience. A posting is generally new-grad friendly when it lists zero to two years of experience as acceptable, accepts internships or academic projects in place of full-time history, or explicitly invites candidates who are early in their careers. Using the filter for entry level helps surface those openings quickly.
Which industries hire the most entry level senior asset managers?
Entry Level senior asset manager roles concentrate in Investment & Asset Management, Retail, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors drive junior hiring because they manage large, complex asset portfolios that require dedicated analysts and coordinators to handle valuation, tracking, reporting, and compliance work at the ground level.
