Senior Consultant Jobs in Los Angeles: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior consultant job in Los Angeles?
Focus your search on the management consulting firms clustered in Century City and Downtown LA, the entertainment and media companies headquartered in Burbank and Culver City, and the technology and aerospace contractors concentrated in El Segundo and the South Bay. Candidates who combine deep functional expertise with a network built through local industry groups, UCLA Anderson or USC Marshall alumni communities, and Los Angeles Chamber events tend to move faster through hiring processes here.
Which companies hire senior consultants in Los Angeles?
Companies currently hiring senior consultants in Los Angeles include Deloitte, PwC, and CohnReznick, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Los Angeles draws a wide mix of global consulting firms, regional boutique practices, and large in-house strategy teams at entertainment studios and healthcare systems.
Are there remote senior consultant jobs in Los Angeles?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the type of work: analytical and strategy-focused roles tend to allow remote arrangements more often than client-facing implementation or on-site advisory work. About 40% of senior consultant openings tied to Los Angeles are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with the highest share found in technology, finance, and corporate strategy roles. Client delivery and entertainment industry positions typically require in-person presence.
How can I get a senior consultant job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Los Angeles is joining a boutique consulting firm or an in-house strategy and operations team at a mid-size company as an analyst or associate consultant. Los Angeles employers in healthcare, media, and real estate regularly hire junior consultants through campus recruiting at UCLA, USC, and Pepperdine. Building a portfolio of project work, even through pro bono engagements with nonprofits in the city, gives candidates a concrete edge when applying for roles that bridge to senior-level positions.
Which industries hire the most senior consultants in Los Angeles?
Los Angeles senior consultant roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Accounting & Auditing, and Investment & Asset Management, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. The city's outsized entertainment and media sector, combined with a growing technology corridor and one of the largest healthcare markets on the West Coast, sustains consistent demand for senior consultants with cross-functional expertise.
