Job Description
The Cybersecurity Senior Manager will be a key contributor to the expansion of Sia’s cybersecurity consulting services in the New York market, reinforcing the firm’s position as a trusted advisor.
This role requires deep cybersecurity expertise combined with consulting and business development experience. The successful candidate will lead cybersecurity engagements and key account development, while mentoring high-performing teams and ensuring delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with Sia's business objectives and consulting services.
- Lead and manage the cybersecurity consulting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Drive business development efforts in the New York City market by expanding service offerings and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Support the hub’s cybersecurity business expansion activities and coordinate go-to-market initiatives across priority offerings.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and strategic stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and deliver tailored solutions that address their challenges.
- Ensure efficient staffing and streamlined delivery management across cybersecurity initiatives.
- Participate in hiring, career development, performance evaluation, and retention of cybersecurity talent.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats, and recommend proactive measures to enhance Sia's security posture.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the status of cybersecurity initiatives and business development efforts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Participate in major cybersecurity trade shows attended by C-Level executives and drive the achievement of relevant cybersecurity clearances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity and management consulting, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of business development and client relationship management in the New York City market.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Experience with risk management, incident response, and security operations.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
