At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential, and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology and careers to the next level.
We are hiring a Senior /Technical Program Manager for our Application Experience (AppEx) organization. AppEx is the engineering org that builds the surfaces developers and data engineers love — from Streamlit and Notebooks to Native Apps, Cortex Code, Snowpark drivers, and the developer platform that ties it all together. This TPM will drive high-visibility programs that span multiple AppEx teams and define how tens of thousands of developers experience Snowflake's capabilities every day.
AS A SENIOR / STAFF TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Own and drive complex, cross-functional programs across AppEx engineering teams — spanning application surfaces, developer tooling, AI-powered experiences, and the underlying platform — from scoping through delivery
Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Principal Engineers to define program roadmaps, surface dependencies, and build execution plans that hold up under real-world complexity
Serve as the connective tissue across AppEx sub-orgs (Applications, Notebooks, Native Apps, Drivers, AIML, Developer Platform) to keep programs aligned and unblocked
Establish and maintain clear reporting cadences — tracking milestones, risks, decisions, and engineering health — and proactively escalate when things need leadership attention
Drive cross-org alignment on shared APIs, integration points, and developer-facing feature launches that touch multiple Snowflake product surfaces
Identify systemic friction in how AppEx teams plan and deliver; design lightweight processes and tooling-backed workflows to improve engineering velocity and predictability
Represent AppEx programs to senior leadership with crisp, data-backed status and recommendations
OUR IDEAL SENIOR / STAFF TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER WILL HAVE:
7+ years of technical program management experience at a cloud software company, with a track record of owning complex, cross-team programs end-to-end
Deep familiarity with developer-facing products or platform engineering — you understand what it takes to build great developer experiences and the challenges that come with shipping at scale
Demonstrated ability to work directly with engineers and architects, going deep on technical design when needed while keeping program execution on track
Strong cross-functional leadership skills: you've driven alignment across Engineering, Product, Design, and Go-to-Market without formal authority
Comfort operating in ambiguity — you can define structure where none exists and make progress while not all the answers are clear yet
Excellent written and verbal communication; you're effective in front of engineers, executive stakeholders, and everyone in between
Experience with modern cloud-native software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, release management, and API-first development
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, data platforms, or developer tooling products (Streamlit, Notebooks, Native Apps, Spark, etc.)
Prior exposure to AI/ML product development programs or agentic application delivery
Experience driving developer ecosystem programs — SDKs, drivers, or developer relations-adjacent work
Familiarity with program management tooling (Linear, Jira, Shortcut) and data-driven program health dashboards
Prior experience in a high-growth, post-IPO technology company environment
WHY JOIN THE APPEX TEAM AT SNOWFLAKE?
AppEx is one of the most cross-cutting and high-visibility engineering organizations at Snowflake. The team owns the developer-facing surface area — the products developers open every morning to build, analyze, and deploy. From Streamlit's growth as a first-class app framework, to Notebooks as a unified analytics environment, to Native Apps enabling Snowflake's application ecosystem, to Cortex Code bringing AI-native development to the data cloud — AppEx ships the surfaces that define how the world experiences Snowflake.
As the first TPM embedded in AppEx, you'll have a greenfield opportunity to shape what great program management looks like in this org — building the foundations, tools, and operating rhythms that will scale with the team. This isn't a seat at the table; it's an invitation to build the table.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.

Tips for Your Senior Director Strategic Partnerships Job Search
Quantify partnership revenue in your resume
Hiring managers for this role want to see the commercial impact of your deals. Replace vague language with concrete outcomes: total contract value generated, partner-sourced revenue as a share of company growth, or the number of strategic alliances you brought from negotiation to close.
Tailor your pitch to the partnership model
A senior director strategic partnerships role at a SaaS company looks very different from one at a health system or media conglomerate. Read the job description for whether they want channel, technology, or co-sell partnerships, and rewrite your summary line to match that exact model before applying.
Target companies at inflection points
Organizations entering new verticals, launching a partner ecosystem for the first time, or preparing for a market expansion hire aggressively at this level. Filter your search for companies that have recently raised a funding round, announced a new product line, or reorganized their go-to-market team.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists senior director strategic partnerships openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Prepare a partnership deal narrative for interviews
Interviewers at this level almost always ask you to walk through a significant deal you closed or a partnership you built from scratch. Prepare a two-minute story that covers how you identified the opportunity, structured the agreement, and measured success after launch.
Negotiate scope before accepting an offer
Before you accept, clarify whether the role owns the full partnership lifecycle or only the relationship management phase. Roles that exclude business development or contracting authority limit your impact and your next career move, so get that scope confirmed in writing.
Senior Director Strategic Partnerships Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most senior director strategic partnershipss?
The companies hiring the most senior director strategic partnershipss right now include Meta, Google, and DoorDash, with the largest share of openings in California, New York, and Texas, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Technology, financial services, and healthcare organizations consistently account for the highest volume of postings at this level.
How many senior director strategic partnerships jobs are remote?
About 78% of senior director strategic partnerships openings are fully remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the relationship-driven nature of the role, which often requires in-person presence for high-stakes negotiations. Alliance management and channel partnership functions tend to offer the most remote flexibility, while roles tied to co-sell motions with enterprise sales teams often require regular on-site collaboration.
How do you become a senior director strategic partnerships?
Most people reach this level by spending several years in business development, account management, or channel sales, then moving into partnership management roles with increasing ownership over deal size and partner tier. Building a portfolio of closed agreements, demonstrating revenue impact, and taking on cross-functional projects that touch product or go-to-market strategy are the steps that separate directors from senior directors in this function.
Can you get a senior director strategic partnerships job with limited experience?
Breaking in at the senior director level without direct partnership leadership experience is difficult, but candidates who have led large enterprise accounts, run a sales team, or managed a product integration program often make a credible case. Highlighting the commercial and relationship complexity of your past work, rather than your job title, is the most effective way to close that gap in applications and interviews.
What does the senior director strategic partnerships interview process look like?
The process typically begins with a recruiter screening call, followed by a hiring manager conversation focused on your deal history and leadership approach. Later rounds usually include a panel with stakeholders from sales, product, and legal, and a presentation where you are asked to outline a hypothetical partnership strategy or walk through a past deal in detail. Executive interviews are common at this seniority level before an offer is extended.
Where can I find and apply to senior director strategic partnerships jobs?
