About us
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.

Senior Full Stack Engineer Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a senior full stack engineer in New York?
Senior full stack engineering in New York requires no state-issued license, so advancement follows a technical and experiential path rather than a credentialing board. Most engineers arrive through a computer science or software engineering degree or a recognized intensive bootcamp, then build several years of hands-on product work. New York employers typically promote to senior level after demonstrated ownership of complex systems, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship of junior engineers.
How much do senior full stack engineers make in New York?
Senior full stack engineers in New York earn a median of about $166,180 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $97,430 for the lowest 10% to over $224,590 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire senior full stack engineers in New York?
Employers hiring senior full stack engineers in New York right now include Bloomberg, Rippling, and Capital One, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's density of financial services firms, media companies, and high-growth startups means senior full stack roles appear across a particularly wide range of industries compared to most other states.
Which New York cities have the most senior full stack engineer jobs?
New York, New York, and Buffalo account for the most senior full stack engineer openings in New York. New York City dominates because of its concentration of fintech headquarters, major media technology divisions, and enterprise software companies, while Buffalo and Albany contribute through growing technology corridors anchored by financial institutions, state government technology contracts, and university-affiliated research programs.
Are there remote senior full stack engineer jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 26% of senior full stack engineer openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how naturally the work translates to distributed teams. Platform development, API design, and cloud infrastructure work are the areas most commonly offered with fully remote arrangements.
How can I get hired as a senior full stack engineer in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an associate or junior software engineer role, which large New York employers such as JPMorgan Chase, Bloomberg, and Verizon staff regularly through new-graduate programs and rotational engineering tracks. Building a portfolio of deployed projects using React, Node.js, or a cloud provider and contributing to open-source work strengthens applications considerably. Lateral moves from QA engineering, DevOps, or data engineering roles are also common routes into full stack positions at New York companies.
Where can I find and apply to senior full stack engineer jobs in New York?
