Entry Level Senior Manager Business Intelligence Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level senior manager business intelligence job?
Start by building hands-on experience with SQL, data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and basic reporting workflows, since most entry level postings weight practical skills heavily. A capstone project, internship, or bootcamp certificate that shows you can turn raw data into a business recommendation will set your application apart at this stage. Applying to roles that explicitly welcome 0 to 2 years of experience keeps your search realistic and productive.
Which companies hire entry level senior manager business intelligences?
Companies hiring entry level senior manager business intelligences right now include Amazon, DoorDash, and Vivint, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from mid-size technology firms, healthcare systems, retail organizations, and financial services companies that are building out their analytics teams and have room to develop junior talent.
Are there remote entry level senior manager business intelligence jobs?
Yes, though fully remote openings are more common at senior levels than at entry level. About 44% of entry level senior manager business intelligence openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, giving candidates outside major metro areas a real shot at landing their first role without relocating. Hybrid arrangements are especially common among employers who want new hires to get in-person onboarding before working independently.
Are these new grad senior manager business intelligence jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles that explicitly welcome candidates starting out. A new grad posting typically signals that the employer accepts 0 to 2 years of experience and values internships, academic projects, or a portfolio over a long work history. If a posting mentions training programs, mentorship, or rotational tracks, those are strong signs it is designed for early-career candidates like recent graduates.
Which industries hire the most entry level senior manager business intelligences?
Entry Level senior manager business intelligence roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors tend to drive entry level hiring because they generate large volumes of operational and customer data that require dedicated analysts to clean, model, and translate into decisions, creating consistent demand for candidates building their first years of experience.
