Responsibilities:
- Create, document, and implement quality processes, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and industry standards.
- Assist with the ISO 9001 maintenance at Airline’s branch locations.
- Conduct root cause analysis to investigate and resolve quality-related issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances.
- Review customer requirements and ensure adequate systems are in place to meet their needs.
- Coordinate customer audits.
- Collaborate with suppliers to communicate quality expectations and resolve quality issues. Conduct supplier audits, when required.
- Document and review SCAR responses to ensure effectiveness.
- Monitor, analyze, and report quality metrics to support proactive decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and lead internal audit teams for the successful completion of the internal audit process.
- Provide quality training and mentorship to employees, fostering a culture of quality excellence across the organization.
- Partner with production and engineering teams to ensure product quality, support inspection activities, and drive resolution of quality-related concerns.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Quality, Sciences or a related field is required
- Minimum of 5 years of quality experience with strong emphasis on quality engineering and quality management systems
- Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, in some capacity.
- Trained in internal auditing principles is preferred.
- Professional certification like CQE, CQA, PMP, or 6-sigma preferred
- Working knowledge and understanding of engineering drawing
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven record of utilizing statistical tools and techniques to monitor process performance, analyze data trends and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Ability to work independently while leading cross-functional QMS initiatives
