Job Summary
We're looking for a friendly, attentive Server who enjoys creating welcoming dining experiences at Dubu, a newly opening premium Korean restaurant (Hanjeongsik style) in Anderson Arbor, Austin. You'll guide guests through food and drink choices, coordinate with the team, and keep service moving smoothly. Your impact: thoughtful, timely service helps guests feel cared for and enjoy their visit.
Duties
- Welcome guests, take accurate food and beverage orders, and provide attentive service throughout the meal.
- Use the point-of-sale (POS) system to enter orders and process sales transactions, cash, and other payments accurately.
- Share menu knowledge, including Korean dishes, banchan, and drinks; answer questions and help guests choose.
- Coordinate drink service, food delivery, bussing, and table readiness with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues.
- Follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation practices while maintaining a clean service area.
Qualifications
- Customer service, guest relations, and time management skills; clear communication and a welcoming approach are important.
- Basic math skills and experience with cashiering, cash handling, or sales transaction processing are helpful.
- Food service, serving, beverage service, restaurant, hospitality, or guest services experience is preferred. Beginners welcome — training provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems is helpful; experience in food preparation, culinary work, or kitchen operations is also valued.
- Alcohol service knowledge is a plus. Be ready to learn service procedures and work collaboratively in a busy setting.
