Entry Level Service & Sales Representative Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level service & sales representative job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates who can demonstrate strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and comfort handling objections or complaints. Internship experience in retail, call centers, or account support gives you a clear edge, and any role where you met targets or resolved customer issues is worth highlighting. Tailoring your resume to the specific product or industry the employer serves helps you stand out at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level service & sales representatives?
Companies hiring entry level service & sales representatives right now include Cintas, Johnson Controls, and Drybar, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The mix typically includes insurance carriers, telecommunications providers, financial services firms, and consumer goods companies that maintain large customer-facing teams and regularly bring on candidates with little to no prior experience.
Are there remote entry level service & sales representative jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles still make up the majority at the entry level. About 4% of entry level service & sales representative openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and these positions are most common in industries like insurance, software subscriptions, and financial services where customer interactions happen by phone or digital channels.
Are these new grad service & sales representative jobs?
Yes, this page includes new grad, recent graduate, and junior service & sales representative roles alongside other entry level openings. A posting is generally new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or part-time customer service work in place of full-time history, or explicitly invites candidates without a long professional background to apply.
Which industries hire the most entry level service & sales representatives?
Entry Level service & sales representative roles concentrate in Manufacturing, Agriculture & Farming, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive consistent hiring at this level because their business models depend on high-volume customer contact, and they invest in training junior candidates rather than requiring fully developed sales skills on day one.
