The role
We're looking for a Social Media and Content Marketing Manager to own the channels where Flexport shows up every day. You'll run our social presence, keep the blog full of content people actually want to read, and produce a newsletter that logistics leaders look forward to opening. You'll write most of it yourself, polish the visuals in Canva, cut short videos for social, and build a network of voices, inside Flexport and out, who amplify our story.
This is a hands-on job for a strong writer who gets social, has an eye for design, and likes shipping work rather than just planning it.
You will
- Own Flexport's owned social channels day to day across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram: plan the calendar, write the posts, publish, engage, and report on what's working.
- Write and edit blog content that turns complex supply chain topics into pieces people finish and share, from thought leadership to customer stories to product updates.
- Produce our newsletter end to end, from picking the stories to writing the copy to hitting send.
- Design social graphics and light marketing assets in Canva, staying true to Flexport's brand.
- Edit short-form video for social, including cutting clips, adding captions, and packaging them for each platform.
- Build our influencer network on both sides: coach internal experts and executives to post with confidence, and cultivate relationships with external creators and industry voices.
- Track performance across channels and use what you learn to make the next post, article, and newsletter better.
You should have
- 5+ years in social media, content marketing, or a closely related role.
- Genuinely strong writing. You can take a dense logistics topic and make it clear, sharp, and worth reading.
- Hands-on experience managing owned media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
- A working command of social best practices across those platforms, from what to post to when and why, and how each channel differs.
- Basic design editing skills. You're comfortable building clean, on-brand graphics in Canva.
- Basic video editing skills. You can cut and caption short clips for social without needing a full production team.
- Comfort managing several channels and deadlines at once, with the ownership to keep them all moving.
- Bonus: experience building creator or influencer programs, or working in B2B, logistics, or tech.

Mid Level Social Media Content Creator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level social media content creator job?
Position yourself around ownership and measurable results. Highlight campaigns you led independently, content systems you built, and performance improvements you drove, such as engagement growth or audience expansion. Tailor your portfolio to show strategic thinking, not just execution. Employers at this level want creators who have managed content calendars, collaborated cross-functionally, and can articulate what worked and why.
Which companies hire mid level social media content creators?
Companies hiring mid level social media content creators right now include Flexport, Filevine, and Brightway Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad mix of consumer brands, media companies, and tech-forward organizations with established social presences that need experienced creators to sustain and grow them.
Are there remote mid level social media content creator jobs?
Yes, and the share is substantial. About 33% of mid level social media content creator openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how content-focused roles have shifted toward flexible arrangements. Fully remote roles tend to favor creators with a demonstrated ability to collaborate asynchronously and manage deliverables independently.
How do I move up to a mid level social media content creator role?
Growth from entry level into mid level comes from accumulating ownership over time. Focus on taking full responsibility for individual channels or campaigns, building repeatable content workflows, and documenting measurable outcomes. Developing familiarity with analytics platforms and learning to brief or guide others signals readiness for mid level responsibilities. Consistency of quality across two to three years tends to be the clearest indicator employers look for.
Which industries hire the most mid level social media content creators?
Mid Level social media content creator roles concentrate in Transportation & Logistics, Insurance, and Automotive, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because their audience engagement needs are ongoing, their content volume is high, and they require creators who can operate with strategic independence rather than constant direction.
