Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks an Advanced Product Owner – Integrated Residential Energy Systems in Franklin, TN.

Job Description: Lead the strategy, development, and integration of next generation home energy technologies. Own (create and continuously maintain) and drive the strategic planning and product roadmap for integrated residential energy solutions, ensuring coherence across multiple divisions. Act as the primary conduit between divisions, facilitating alignment, shared priorities, and coordinated execution on cross functional initiatives. Write user stories and acceptance criteria; advocate for superior customer experience; and manage functional scope and deadlines for product backlog items. Translate customer needs, regulatory trends, and market opportunities into system level product strategies and actionable feature definitions. Collaborate with technical, creative and business stakeholders (i.e., engineering, marketing, sales, regulatory teams,) to deliver cohesive, high impact offerings, as well as to ensure timely and accurate product implementations. Drive digitalization across the home energy ecosystem, enabling real time visibility, automation, and optimization of residential energy flows. Maintain deep expertise in relevant electrical standards, safety requirements, and regulatory codes that guide residential energy system design. Engage with industry bodies and working groups to stay ahead of evolving standards and participate in shaping future requirements. Ensure all product developments meet or exceed compliance, safety, cybersecurity, and interoperability expectations. Advocate for superior customer experience while managing functional scope and deadlines for product backlog items. Engage directly with homeowners, installers, utilities, channel partners, and integrators to validate needs, value proposition and test concepts. Champion user centric design across both digital and physical interactions, ensuring a seamless, intuitive customer experience. Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and competitive trends to guide iteration and continuous improvement. Manage the entire product lifecycle (concept to launch to long term roadmap evolution) while ensuring products remain relevant, competitive, and aligned across divisions. Collaborate closely with both divisions to support scaling, adoption, and sustained market impact. Remote eligible up to 2 days/wk. 35% travel required (5% international, 30% domestic) to customer sites, tradeshows, and manufacturing locations for market analysis, testing and installation, engineering, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related and 7 years of experience in project management, technical sales, hardware and software design, or a combination thereof. Work experience to include: 5 years of experience in Strategic Planning to lead product lifecycle end-to-end; 5 years of experience working closely with various cross-functional teams and organizations; 5 years of experience in product development, project execution, engineering development, or marketing; 5 years of experience developing creative solutions and value propositions based on customer needs; Leadership over at least one (1) multi-year product development for integrated hardware and digital systems; and Customer and market segmentation experience to understand market trends, technology landscape, competitors, industry and country specific codes. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 168,800 - USD 253,200 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
