Astek is seeking a contract software developer to write software unit tests for one of our embedded ASICs. You will develop unit tests against specifications and source code, document test procedures, and help strengthen our test processes. Key Responsibilities
- Write software unit tests for embedded ASIC firmware, preferably in the GoogleTest (GTest) framework
- Generate test requirements from specifications and from review of source code
- Create and document test procedures
- Contribute to improving Astek’s test and quality processes
- Potentially design and run tests on hardware
Required Qualifications
- Experience writing software unit tests
- Fluency in C/C++
- Ability to derive test requirements from specifications and source code review
- Experience creating and documenting test procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the GoogleTest (GTest) unit-test framework
- Assembly language experience
- Experience designing and running tests on hardware
