Solutions Analyst Jobs in Chicago: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a solutions analyst job in Chicago?
Focus your search on Chicago's financial services firms in the Loop, health tech companies anchored around the Medical District and Illinois Medical Center, and enterprise software employers concentrated in River North and Fulton Market. Candidates who demonstrate experience translating business requirements into technical specifications stand out here. Familiarity with the specific platforms and workflows common in financial services or healthcare IT gives you a meaningful edge in Chicago's market.
Which companies hire solutions analysts in Chicago?

Chicago's hiring mix skews toward large financial institutions, regional insurance carriers, health systems, and mid-size enterprise software firms with local offices in the Loop and Fulton Market.
Are there remote solutions analyst jobs in Chicago?
Yes, though availability depends on the role. Solutions analyst work is desk-based and analytical by nature, making it more remote-compatible than hands-on technical positions. About 83% of solutions analyst openings tied to Chicago are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with hybrid arrangements most common at Chicago's larger financial and healthcare employers who maintain Loop or Fulton Market offices as team anchors.
How can I get a solutions analyst job in Chicago with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Chicago is through business analyst or junior analyst roles at regional insurance firms, mid-size fintech companies, or health systems that actively hire for analytical support positions. Many Chicago employers also bring in recent graduates through associate programs, particularly companies with headquarters in the Loop. Building fluency in SQL and requirements documentation, then targeting contract or project-based roles, is a proven bridge to full-time positions.
Which industries hire the most solutions analysts in Chicago?
Chicago solutions analyst roles concentrate in Investment & Asset Management, Consulting & Professional Services, and Accounting & Auditing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026.
