Staff Accountant Jobs in Scottsdale: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a staff accountant job in Scottsdale?
Target Scottsdale's densest hiring sectors: financial services firms along the Loop 101 corridor, healthcare organizations in the Scottsdale Healthcare network, and the large real estate and property management companies headquartered in North Scottsdale. Candidates with experience in month-end close, general ledger reconciliation, or NetSuite and QuickBooks tend to stand out locally. Applying directly to mid-size professional services firms and CPA practices in Old Town and North Scottsdale also moves faster than targeting large national employers.
Which companies hire staff accountants in Scottsdale?
Employers hiring staff accountants in Scottsdale right now include MFused, Spooner, and arrivia, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Scottsdale's market includes a mix of corporate headquarters, regional financial services firms, and fast-growing healthcare and hospitality companies that maintain dedicated in-house accounting teams.
Are there remote staff accountant jobs in Scottsdale?
Yes, though staff accountant roles skew more on-site than fully remote because month-end close, audit support, and invoice processing often require coordination with local teams. About 14% of staff accountant openings tied to Scottsdale are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with hybrid arrangements most common at the technology and financial services firms based in North Scottsdale and the Scottsdale Quarter area.
How can I get a staff accountant job in Scottsdale with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Scottsdale is through a junior or accounts payable role at one of the mid-size real estate, hospitality, or healthcare companies headquartered here, many of which promote from within. Local CPA firms in Old Town Scottsdale and North Scottsdale frequently hire accounting associates and bookkeepers as stepping stones to staff accountant positions. A degree in accounting or finance and proficiency in QuickBooks or Excel are the most common minimum requirements employers list.
Which industries hire the most staff accountants in Scottsdale?
The sectors hiring the most staff accountants in Scottsdale are Hospitality & Tourism, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Scottsdale's concentration of financial services headquarters, large healthcare systems, and active commercial real estate development creates consistent demand for staff-level accounting across all three sectors.
