ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You are an inquisitive and detail-oriented engineer with a passion for hands-on problem solving and a drive to push the boundaries of silicon performance. You possess a strong foundation in analog IC design and are adept at debugging complex hardware systems. Your ability to interpret data, create thorough test reports, and communicate technical findings clearly in English ensures that you are an effective contributor to cross-functional teams. Your programming expertise in Python, combined with knowledge of FPGA development (Verilog), empowers you to automate test flows and enhance lab efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conducting comprehensive testing on silicon implementations of high-speed analog integrated circuits in a cutting-edge R&D lab environment.
- Reviewing and debugging silicon under test, as well as supporting associated hardware systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Executing detailed characterization tests and preparing clear, actionable test reports for cross-functional teams.
- Designing and developing test boards and hardware solutions to facilitate robust test, debug, and characterization processes.
- Using theoretical circuit knowledge to investigate, interpret, and explain circuit behavior and limitations during validation.
- Collaborating with analog designers, hardware engineers, and firmware teams to refine silicon performance and drive innovation.
- Automating test procedures using Python and leveraging FPGA programming skills for custom test flow development.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or equivalent technical field with at least 5+ years of industry direct related experience.
- Strong analog IC circuit knowledge and hands-on experience with silicon validation.
- Expertise in debugging complex hardware systems and using advanced lab equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, network analyzers).
- Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of FPGA programming (Verilog) and hardware development.
- Understanding of interface protocols such as PCI Express and Ethernet.
- Familiarity with NRZ and PAM4 encoding, as well as communication interfaces (JTAG, I2C, SPI).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
