- Build for scale, identifying successful approaches, codifying best practices, and creating repeatable frameworks that can be adopted across accounts and regions.
- Contribute to the evolution of ABM at AWS, sharing insights, experimentation, and best practices with the broader global ABM community.

Strategic Account Manager Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a strategic account manager job in Seattle?
The strongest path is targeting Seattle's technology corridor, where cloud platforms, SaaS companies, and enterprise software firms generate the highest volume of openings. South Lake Union and the Denny Triangle are the densest hiring zones, with Bellevue and Redmond close behind for enterprise tech. Candidates who can demonstrate complex deal management, multi-stakeholder relationships, and familiarity with cloud or B2B software sales stand out most in this market.
Which companies hire strategic account managers in Seattle?
Employers hiring strategic account managers in Seattle right now include Amazon Web Services, Stackline, and Amazon, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Seattle's market leans heavily toward large enterprise technology firms, cybersecurity vendors, and life sciences companies, alongside regional healthcare systems and logistics organizations that maintain dedicated account teams.
Are there remote strategic account manager jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though the role is relationship-driven and often requires in-person client engagement, making fully remote arrangements less common than in purely analytical roles. About 93% of strategic account manager openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with most flexibility concentrated in the technology and software sectors. Territory management and executive briefings tend to remain in-person, while pipeline reviews and internal coordination are most often handled remotely.
How can I get a strategic account manager job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is moving up from an account executive, business development representative, or inside sales role at one of the city's many mid-size SaaS or cloud companies, where promotion cycles into strategic accounts tend to be faster than at large enterprises. Targeting growth-stage technology firms in South Lake Union or Fremont gives early exposure to enterprise deal cycles. Building familiarity with consultative selling frameworks and earning a Salesforce or AWS certification noticeably strengthens local applications.
Which industries hire the most strategic account managers in Seattle?
The sectors hiring the most strategic account managers in Seattle are Technology & Software, Chemicals & Materials, and Electronics & Hardware, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Seattle's concentration of cloud infrastructure providers, global retail and logistics headquarters, and an expanding life sciences cluster means demand for strategic account professionals who can manage high-value, long-cycle enterprise relationships remains consistently high across those sectors.
