ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Strategic Finance Senior Associate, you will own the company’s end-to-end revenue forecast as we scale. You will model a dynamic revenue base shaped by customer usage, new GPU deployments, product mix, and other key business drivers, translating these inputs into actionable insights for leadership. Beyond forecasting, you will proactively identify opportunities to accelerate revenue growth and improve business performance. You will serve as a strategic thought partner to teams across the company, including GTM, Product, and Infrastructure Engineering, helping to evaluate tradeoffs and drive execution against Together’s growth priorities. This is a hands-on, high ownership role. You will be part of a lean Strategic Finance team, with the opportunity to help drive strategic initiatives across the business as well as shape the strategic finance function of a rapidly growing AI infrastructure startup.
Responsibilities
- Own the revenue model and forecast across sales-led and self-serve motions, partnerships, new business, renewals, churn, and new hardware deployments - spanning both committed contracts and consumption/usage-based revenue
- Prepare clear, concise analyses and reporting for leadership on revenue performance, forecast risk, and the drivers behind variances
- Build expertise to deeply understand the company's product offerings, product portfolio and associated nuances
- Go beyond reporting the number: proactively identify levers to grow revenue and work with Product, GTM, and Infrastructure Engineering to execute them
- Assist with long-range planning (LRP) and building the company's overall financial strategy.
- Build repeatable processes and tooling (dashboards, models, reconciliations) that make revenue forecasting faster and more reliable each quarter
- Be ready to roll up your sleeves and assist with other strategic finance initiatives and priorities to drive business impact and help the company grow
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 – 4 years of experience, ideally 2 years in investment banking or consulting paired with 1 – 2 years in private equity, growth equity, or venture capital; strategic finance or FP&A experience at a high-growth company is also a strong fit
- Exceptional financial modeling skills and close attention to detail, with the discipline to build models that are auditable and the instinct to catch errors before they reach leadership
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; familiarity with SQL is a plus
- Ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners in GTM, Infrastructure Engineering, and Product
- Exceptional business judgment and intuition, with the creativity and problem-solving instincts to tackle novel questions where there is no established playbook
- Strong work ethic and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines
- Experience with usage-based or consumption revenue models is a plus

Entry Level Strategy Associate Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level strategy associate job?
Entry level strategy associate roles reward candidates who can demonstrate structured thinking and communicate data-driven recommendations clearly. Employers at this level look for experience with Excel or similar tools, exposure to frameworks like SWOT or competitive analysis, and examples from coursework, internships, or case competitions. Tailoring your resume to show business impact, even from academic projects, gives you a meaningful edge over applicants with generic applications.
Which companies hire entry level strategy associates?
Companies hiring entry level strategy associates right now include DoorDash, JPMorganChase, and ZS, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including consulting firms, corporate strategy teams at large enterprises, and growth-stage startups that need analytical support without requiring years of prior experience.
Are there remote entry level strategy associate jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 39% of entry level strategy associate openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, meaning candidates outside major metros can still compete for strong opportunities. Many consulting-adjacent roles and tech-sector strategy teams have embraced flexible work arrangements, making remote options more accessible at the entry level than in previous years.
Are these new grad strategy associate jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles that welcome candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad-friendly posting typically mentions zero to two years of experience, accepts internship work as a substitute for full-time history, or explicitly welcomes a portfolio of analytical or project work. If a posting lists a degree requirement without demanding years on the job, it is generally open to new grads.
Which industries hire the most entry level strategy associates?
Entry Level strategy associate roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Investment & Asset Management, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors tend to drive hiring at this level because they rely on structured analysis and market research to support fast-moving decisions, creating a steady demand for junior talent who can contribute to strategy work without needing extensive prior experience.
