Summary

Essential Job Functions
- Creates and implements a graphic design, visual identity and multimedia strategy
- Creates and implements video strategy for digital channels
- Produces print, environmental and digital communications that enhance the university's external image
- Directs the development of creative content and communication strategies, including channel selection, delivery methods, and communication schedules, to effectively engage target audiences
- Oversees the design of key university marketing assets such as website, e-mail, social media campaigns, print materials and environmental graphics on campus
- Manages the planning and execution of departmental projects to maintain the timely, efficient and effective delivery of creative assets and communications
- Reviews visual content to maintain compliance with university and federal accessibility standards while designing and creating for a public audience
- Maintains the university's graphic and brand standards by keeping them up to date and seeks opportunities to create efficiency through the creation of templates for use in the university community
- Maintains current graphic standards and develops accessible design tools and templates that support effective and consistent communication throughout the university community
- Prepares and monitors departmental budget
- Supervises and develops the department staff, facilitating professional opportunities to improve individual capability and managing performance against job accountabilities, department goals and established university, campus, and department policies and procedures
- Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Moderate amount of experience working in visual, print, and/or digital content management or other related experience
Compensation: $105,000 - $110,000/annualized
