Supply Chain Director Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a supply chain director job in Dallas?
Focus on Dallas's strongest hiring sectors: large-scale distribution, retail and consumer goods, healthcare systems, and industrial manufacturing. Employers in Las Colinas, the Stemmons Corridor, and the Alliance corridor north of the city tend to post the most director-level openings. Candidates who combine end-to-end supply chain ownership with ERP platform experience and vendor relationship management stand out in this market.
Which companies hire supply chain directors in Dallas?
Companies currently hiring supply chain directors in Dallas include Miebach, Dal-Tile, and NTT DATA, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Dallas attracts a wide mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional distribution operators, and healthcare procurement teams, all of which regularly hire at the director level.
Are there remote supply chain director jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though with limits: supply chain director roles tied to physical distribution, warehouse oversight, or manufacturing tend to require on-site presence, while strategic planning, procurement, and analytics-focused roles run more frequently as remote or hybrid. About 29% of supply chain director openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026. The most remote-eligible work typically involves vendor strategy, S&OP planning, and cross-functional reporting.
How can I get a supply chain director job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is moving up from a supply chain manager or senior operations manager role within Dallas's distribution, retail, or healthcare sectors, where internal promotion to director is common. Regional 3PL operators and large retail logistics centers based in the Alliance and Great Southwest Industrial District areas frequently develop director-track talent from within. Building credentials in ERP systems and demonstrating P&L ownership in a manager role accelerates that transition.
Which industries hire the most supply chain directors in Dallas?
Most supply chain director openings in Dallas sit in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Chemicals & Materials, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Dallas's position as a major national distribution hub, combined with its concentration of healthcare networks and consumer goods headquarters, makes those sectors the consistent drivers of director-level demand.
