Design, develop, enhance, and support Oracle E-Business Suite Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions, ensuring stable and efficient operation of manufacturing, inventory, and SCM processes, while adhering to established technical standards and business requirements. They should also enhance, implement and support custom Oracle EBS extensions in operations and SCM modules.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions for Oracle EBS SCM modules including Inventory, BOM, WIP and Purchasing
- Build and enhance EBS customizations using PL/SQL, Forms, BI Publisher Reports, and Concurrent Programs
- Develop and support inbound and outbound interfaces to integrate EBS with custom warehouse systems, and external applications
- Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning for high-volume transactional processes
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for EBS application
- Support shop floor and manufacturing execution processes within EBS
- Assist with deployments, cutovers, and post-release stabilization
- Support EBS patches, bug fixes, and technical remediation activities
- Provide L2/L3 support for EBS SCM production issues
- Analyze root causes and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed components, integrations, and support procedures
- Participate in code reviews and design walkthroughs, providing constructive technical feedback
- Follow established development standards, security guidelines, and deployment processes
- Collaborate closely with functional analysts, QA teams, and integration partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Assist in knowledge transfer and peer reviews as needed
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to functional, operations, and business stakeholders
- Ability to work calmly and effectively in high-pressure shop floor and production-support situations
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Skills & Qualifications
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS SCM modules (Inventory, BOM, WIP, Purchasing)
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, BI Publisher Reports, and Concurrent Programs
- Experience developing EBS interfaces and integrations
- Strong SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or middleware tools
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Prior experience in EBS–Fusion coexistence landscapes
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of overall ERP or enterprise application development experience
