Checkpoint BI is seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Service Technician - Access Control and Security Systems, to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment of access control and security systems at construction and industrial job sites.
This role works with a variety of technologies, including access control systems, turnstiles, badge scanners, surveillance equipment, cameras, routers, modems, tablets, and other connected devices. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys solving problems, and is comfortable working in both field and customer-facing environments.

What You'll Do
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot access control and site security systems.
- Deploy and support turnstiles, badge scanners, surveillance equipment, and camera towers.
- Install and troubleshoot low-voltage electronics, routers, modems, switches, cameras, tablets, and laptops.
- Assist with equipment setup, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot connectivity issues in the field.
- Track equipment inventory, maintenance records, and deployment documentation.
- Safely operate company vehicles and follow all company safety procedures.
- Represent Checkpoint BI professionally at customer locations and construction sites.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on mechanical or technical experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Fluency in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
