Talent Acquisition Associate Jobs in Columbus: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a talent acquisition associate job in Columbus?
Target Columbus's largest hiring sectors: healthcare systems on the east side, financial services firms Downtown, and the expanding tech and logistics companies near Easton and Polaris. Candidates with experience in high-volume recruiting or applicant tracking systems stand out locally. Networking through Columbus Young Professionals or SHRM Central Ohio can open doors that job boards alone won't.
Which companies hire talent acquisition associates in Columbus?
Employers hiring talent acquisition associates in Columbus right now include JPMorganChase, BWE, and Abbott, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Columbus attracts a mix of large healthcare networks, regional banks, and mid-size technology companies, all of which run active in-house recruiting teams year-round.
Are there remote talent acquisition associate jobs in Columbus?
Yes, though availability depends on the role: sourcing, scheduling coordination, and reporting tasks tend to go remote more readily than on-site interview facilitation or campus recruiting. About 50% of talent acquisition associate openings tied to Columbus are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. Healthcare and government contractors in Columbus typically require the most in-person presence.
How can I get a talent acquisition associate job in Columbus with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Columbus is landing an HR coordinator or recruiting coordinator role at one of the city's large healthcare employers or staffing agencies, which regularly hire at the junior level. Columbus State Community College's workforce programs and internships at Downtown financial firms also create strong footholds. Familiarity with any applicant tracking system and a demonstrated interest in candidate experience will separate you from other applicants.
Which industries hire the most talent acquisition associates in Columbus?
The sectors hiring the most talent acquisition associates in Columbus are Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
