Talent Acquisition Intern Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a talent acquisition intern in New Hampshire?
Talent acquisition internships in New Hampshire do not require a state-issued license or certification. Most employers look for candidates currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a human resources, business administration, or psychology program at institutions like the University of New Hampshire or Southern New Hampshire University. A strong foundation in recruiting fundamentals, exposure to applicant tracking systems, and any prior administrative or customer-facing experience are the most reliable paths to landing an internship in this field.
Which companies hire talent acquisition interns in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire talent acquisition intern roles are posted by Fidelity TalentSource, Guardian Angel Senior Services, and Amphenol and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of healthcare networks, defense contractors, and financial services firms creates recurring demand for recruiting support across multiple hiring cycles each year.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most talent acquisition intern jobs?
Portsmouth, Manchester, and Nashua are the cities with the most talent acquisition intern openings in New Hampshire. Manchester and Nashua lead because they are home to the state's largest private employers in technology, healthcare, and financial services, while Concord draws openings from state government agencies and nonprofit organizations that maintain active recruiting functions throughout the year.
Are there remote talent acquisition intern jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most entry-level roles, since much of talent acquisition work involves digital sourcing, video interviews, and applicant tracking systems that translate well to remote environments. About 50% of talent acquisition intern openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-based and communication-driven nature of the work. Sourcing, screening coordination, and job posting tasks are the functions most likely to be performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a talent acquisition intern in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying through university career centers at the University of New Hampshire or Southern New Hampshire University, both of which maintain partnerships with regional employers actively seeking HR interns. Candidates with no direct recruiting experience can strengthen their applications by taking on administrative assistant, front desk, or event coordination roles at New Hampshire healthcare systems or tech companies, which build transferable screening and organizational skills. Completing a SHRM student membership or an entry-level HR certificate also gives candidates a competitive edge with New Hampshire employers who value demonstrated professional development.
