Who's Hiring

Talent Acquisition Intern Jobs in Houston: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a talent acquisition intern job in Houston?
Focus your search on Houston's dominant hiring sectors: energy companies clustered in the Energy Corridor, large health systems anchored around the Texas Medical Center, and professional services firms in Greenway Plaza and Uptown. Candidates who stand out typically have exposure to applicant tracking systems, sourcing basics, or HR coursework. Networking through local SHRM Houston chapter events gives you a direct line to the recruiters doing the hiring.
Which companies hire talent acquisition interns in Houston?
Employers hiring talent acquisition interns in Houston right now include ENGIE, Acuren, and Imubit, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Houston's mix of large energy corporations, major hospital systems, and regional professional services firms makes it one of the more active markets in Texas for early-career recruiting roles.
Are there remote talent acquisition intern jobs in Houston?
Yes, though availability depends on the role's focus. Candidate sourcing, job posting coordination, and data reporting tasks lend themselves to remote work, while on-site interview coordination and campus recruiting in Houston tend to require in-person presence. About 66% of talent acquisition intern openings tied to Houston are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with hybrid arrangements most common at larger corporate employers in the Galleria and Greenway Plaza areas.
How can I get a talent acquisition intern job in Houston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Houston is targeting the HR or talent teams at mid-size energy services firms and health system networks, which hire recruiting support regularly and often consider candidates from business, communications, or psychology programs. Volunteering to coordinate hiring events through university career centers, or picking up short-term administrative work inside an HR department, builds the practical exposure Houston employers look for in early-career candidates.
