Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embody a “community ambassador” and “business owner” mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax. As a primary driver of local growth, you will own your market — identifying and pursuing prospects through targeted outreach, grass-roots marketing initiatives, referral networks, and community partnerships. Serve as the local face of TurboTax, converting new prospects into loyal, long-term clients. Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop-ups, and networking gatherings with the support of TurboTax marketing tools and resources, to create consistent opportunities for customer engagement and brand awareness.
Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Act as a trusted guide for every client by developing a deep understanding of their complete financial picture and connecting them with the Intuit solutions best positioned to move them forward. As you build relationships through tax engagements and collaborative client meetings, identify opportunities to introduce clients to complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma that meaningfully address their needs. - EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
- Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.Familiarity with Circular 230
- Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax season
- Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
