Our challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner with strong expertise in AI, API development, and software engineering to lead the development and delivery of innovative products. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of AI-powered solutions and API integrations.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k-$130/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize product features and technical requirements for AI and API-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
- Own the product backlog, create user stories, and ensure clarity of requirements.
- Drive the technical product roadmap and coordinate development sprints.
- Evaluate and incorporate AI/ML models and ensure their seamless integration into products.
- Oversee API design, development, documentation, and versioning strategies.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance standards are met.
- Stay updated with emerging AI and API technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into the product.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in a Banking Domain.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML development, frameworks, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
