Entry Level Technical Sales Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level technical sales specialist job?
Focus on demonstrating product curiosity and communication skills rather than a long work history. Employers at this level look for candidates who can learn a technical product quickly and explain it clearly to non-technical buyers. Internship experience, a record of quota attainment in any sales role, or coursework in engineering or business all strengthen an entry level application. Tailor your resume to each job description and prepare to discuss a specific product you understand well.
Which companies hire entry level technical sales specialists?
Companies hiring entry level technical sales specialists right now include ServiceTitan, L3Harris, and ClickView, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. At this level, you'll find openings at technology vendors, manufacturing firms, and software companies that run structured sales development programs designed to onboard candidates with little to no prior experience.
Are there remote entry level technical sales specialist jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles still make up the majority at this experience level. About 33% of entry level technical sales specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, so candidates willing to work on-site will generally find a wider pool of opportunities. Remote openings do exist, particularly at software and SaaS companies that run distributed sales teams.
Are these new grad technical sales specialist jobs?
Yes. The listings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior technical sales specialist roles. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience, accepts internship work or a strong portfolio in lieu of full-time history, and does not require an established client network. Look for language like 'entry level,' 'we will train,' or 'recent graduates encouraged to apply' in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level technical sales specialists?
Entry Level technical sales specialist roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they sell complex products that require technical explanation, making them well suited to recent graduates with engineering, computer science, or business backgrounds who can bridge the gap between product teams and customers.
