Job Description
Interplay IT is seeking a dependable and technically skilled IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical assistance and maintain reliable computer systems for business users. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and general IT issues.
In this role, you will assist users with technical problems, configure computer equipment, maintain IT systems, and help ensure smooth technology operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi, and VPN problems.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 and Windows system support.
- Set up user accounts and manage access permissions.
- Respond to help desk requests and maintain support tickets.
- Document technical issues and troubleshooting procedures.
- Assist with equipment installation and IT system maintenance.
- Escalate complex technical problems when necessary.
Required Skills
- Experience in IT support, help desk, or technical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
- Understanding of computer hardware and software installation.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking.
- Knowledge of user account management and Active Directory.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and resolve technical issues.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
