Job Overview
As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you’ll coordinate daily site operations and keep construction work moving safely, efficiently, and to plan. You’ll lead crews and subcontractors, coordinate schedules, review drawings and contracts, and monitor quality and budgets. Your work connects field teams, project managers, and other partners so everyone can act on clear, current information. We do self-perform 10% of the work so we are looking for bag on super intendent. MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL THROUGHOUT WESTERN WASHINGTON.
Duties
- Coordinate construction schedules, site activities, materials, and subcontractor work to support project milestones.
- Lead crews, communicate expectations, and manage day-to-day site priorities.
- Review blueprints, construction drawings, and technical documents; identify conflicts and coordinate resolutions.
- Enforce construction safety management practices, applicable construction regulations, and federal construction safety requirements; support inspections and quality control.
- Track progress, budgets, and contract requirements using construction management software. Your impact: By coordinating safe, quality work and resolving schedule issues early, you help crews deliver reliable spaces for clients and building users.
Experience
- Commercial construction experience a MUST, construction site experience, and a background in construction project management or construction management.
- Supervising experience, including managing teams in a construction management role; strong crew management and managerial communication skills.
- Skills in project scheduling, construction schedule coordination, budgeting, blueprint reading, construction drawing review, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiarity with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requirements and federal construction safety regulations.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, Pipeline, or other construction management software is useful. Primavera experience is preferred; an ohmmeter may be used for applicable field checks.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
