seeking a Construction Superintendent with experience leading building envelope and exterior renovation projects. If you're

Core Responsibilities

• Field Leadership: Direct daily jobsite operations and coordinate employees, subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries,

inspections, and site logistics to maintain a safe and productive workflow.

• Safety Leadership: Establish and maintain a proactive safety culture; implement and enforce CDK safety policies, Site-

Specific Safety Plans, OSHA requirements, fall-protection requirements, and project-specific procedures.

• Scheduling: Develop and maintain short-interval and look-ahead schedules, coordinate trade sequencing, identify

schedule risks early, and work with the Project Manager to keep the overall project timeline on track.

• Labor Resource Management: Forecast manpower needs, plan daily and weekly labor allocation, monitor productivity

against labor budgets, and communicate resource requirements before they affect schedule or cost.

• Quality Control: Inspect work in progress, verify installations comply with contract documents, manufacturer requirements,

approved details, and CDK standards, and promptly correct deficiencies.

• Technical Expertise: Oversee cladding, waterproofing, air and weather barriers, flashing, windows, doors, sealants, deck

systems, roofing interfaces, and other building envelope assemblies and transitions.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily reports, photographs, manpower records, inspection documentation, delivery

records, delay notices, and other project records in Procore or applicable systems.

• Budget and Cost Awareness: Track labor performance, minimize rework, protect materials, identify cost-saving

opportunities, and support the Project Manager in maintaining project profitability.

• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate professionally with owners, residents, architects, engineers, inspectors,

subcontractors, and internal project teams while maintaining alignment and accountability.

• Project Completion: Lead punch-list completion, coordinate final inspections, support closeout documentation, and deliver

a finished project that reflects CDK's standards for safety, quality, and integrity.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of superintendent, assistant superintendent, or comparable field-leadership experience in

commercial or multi-family construction. Building envelope restoration and occupied renovation experience are strongly

preferred.

• Education: A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is helpful but not required. We

value character, field experience, leadership ability, and a demonstrated growth mindset more than formal education alone.

• Safety Training & Knowledge:
• Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required, or the ability to obtain it within an established period

following hire.

• Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA construction standards, fall protection, scaffolding, ladders, aerial lifts, personal

protective equipment, hazard communication, and emergency procedures.

• Ability to conduct toolbox talks, pre-task planning, jobsite inspections, incident documentation, and corrective-action

follow-through.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of building envelope systems, sequencing, materials, interfaces, and fenestration detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and manufacturer installation

requirements.

• Working knowledge of construction scheduling, labor tracking, quality-control documentation, and applicable building

codes and inspection requirements.

• Proficiency: Microsoft Office, Procore, MS Project
• Familiarity: Bluebeam or similar construction-management software.
