Technology Partner Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a technology partner manager in New York?
Most technology partner managers in New York enter the role through a combination of a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field and experience in a sales, account management, or pre-sales engineering role. There is no state-issued license required. New York employers typically promote from inside channel sales or solutions consulting teams, and candidates who have worked in enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud services carry the strongest advantage in this market.
Which companies hire technology partner managers in New York?
Employers hiring technology partner managers in New York right now include Capgemini, Rho, and WPP, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. New York's dense concentration of enterprise technology headquarters, media companies, and financial services firms means partner management roles are consistently active across both large platforms and high-growth SaaS companies with tri-state operations.
Which New York cities have the most technology partner manager jobs?
New York and Brooklyn have the most technology partner manager openings in New York. New York City drives the majority of demand given its concentration of enterprise software vendors, fintech firms, and global technology headquarters, while Albany benefits from state government technology partnerships and White Plains attracts roles tied to the Westchester corporate campus cluster of major technology and professional services companies.

Yes, and more than most fields. About 43% of technology partner manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the desk-based and relationship-driven nature of the work. Strategic alliance management and ISV partnership roles tend to be the most remote-friendly, while channel field roles tied to specific regional territories more often require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a technology partner manager in New York with little or no experience?
