As a Listings Communications Specialist reporting to the Director of Communications, you'll play a key role in helping companies navigate their IPO journey and broader listings lifecycle. You'll blend client management, media relations, and executive support — working closely with issuers, business media, and cross-functional teams to bring Nasdaq's listings story to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary communications contact for companies preparing for and completing their IPOs, providing strategic counsel throughout each stage of the listing process.
- Build and maintain relationships with business media — reporters, producers, and editors — securing coverage and managing inbound press inquiries.
- Partner with broadcast, data, and social media teams to coordinate listing day activations, media moments, and content opportunities.
- Develop briefing books, talking points, and executive prep materials for media interviews, speaking engagements, and public appearances.
- Draft pitch materials, messaging documents, and narrative content tailored to client needs and broader market positioning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of communications experience, with a strong preference for agency background.
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent writing skills across press materials, talking points, and executive communications.
- Strong relationships with business and financial media, with working knowledge of capital markets and the IPO process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with listing structures such as traditional IPOs, direct listings, and SPACs.
- Experience supporting senior executives in high-visibility, client-facing settings.
- Exposure to global teams and cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed environment.
LOCATION
This position will be located in New York and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $88,000 - $154,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
