Territory Manager Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a territory manager job in Phoenix?
The strongest path into Phoenix territory manager roles is through the city's medical device, technology, and food and beverage sectors, which drive the bulk of local postings. Employers in the Camelback Corridor, Tempe, and Chandler hire candidates who can show demonstrated revenue growth and familiarity with the Southwest market. Bilingual Spanish skills and existing relationships with Phoenix-area distributors or healthcare networks give candidates a clear edge in this market.
Which companies hire territory managers in Phoenix?
Phoenix territory manager roles are posted by JCPenney, Smith+Nephew, and Ritchie Bros. and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix attracts a mix of national corporations with regional Southwest hubs and homegrown distribution and healthcare companies that manage large Arizona and multi-state territories from the city.
Are there remote territory manager jobs in Phoenix?
Yes, though remote work is limited in this role by nature since territory managers typically cover physical accounts and sales routes. About 77% of territory manager openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with most flexibility found in inside-sales or analytics-heavy territory roles. Field-based medical device, food service, and distribution roles remain predominantly in-person across the greater Phoenix metro.
How can I get a territory manager job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is through an account representative or sales development role at one of the city's many distribution, medical supply, or technology companies, which routinely promote from within to territory manager. Chandler and Tempe employers in particular run structured sales training programs that build toward territory ownership. Volunteering for route coverage or taking on smaller suburban accounts in the East Valley can accelerate that progression significantly.
Which industries hire the most territory managers in Phoenix?
The sectors hiring the most territory managers in Phoenix are Distribution & Wholesale, Insurance, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix's role as a regional logistics and healthcare hub for the Southwest makes it a natural concentration point for companies that need experienced managers covering Arizona and adjacent states.
