Territory Manager Jobs in Arizona: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a territory manager in Arizona?
Most territory manager roles in Arizona require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a field related to the industry you want to cover. No state-issued license is required for most territory manager positions, though roles in medical devices or pharmaceutical sales may require product-specific certifications from the manufacturer. Arizona employers typically promote from inside sales, account coordinator, or business development representative roles into territory-facing positions.
How much do territory managers make in Arizona?
Territory managers in Arizona earn a median of about $145,690 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $74,510 for the lowest 10% to over $255,220 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire territory managers in Arizona?
Employers hiring territory managers in Arizona right now include BD, サイネオス・ヘルス, and Syneos Health Commercial Solutions, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Arizona's concentration of healthcare systems, distribution hubs, and manufacturing operations in the Phoenix metro drives consistent demand from both national firms and regional distributors.
Which Arizona cities have the most territory manager jobs?
Phoenix, Tucson, and Tempe have the most territory manager openings in Arizona. Phoenix dominates the market because it is home to major corporate offices, regional headquarters, and large distribution centers across industries like healthcare, food service, and industrial supply, while Scottsdale draws technology and medical device employers and Tucson supports territory roles tied to healthcare networks and defense-sector distribution.
Are there remote territory manager jobs in Arizona?
Yes, but they're rare. Territory manager work is inherently field-based, requiring in-person visits to clients, retailers, or healthcare facilities within an assigned geographic area. About 76% of territory manager openings tied to Arizona are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those tend to cover account reporting, CRM updates, or inside sales coordination rather than active field coverage.
How can I get hired as a territory manager in Arizona with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an inside sales or sales development representative role with a company that promotes from within. Arizona employers like Sysco, Medtronic, and Cintas run structured sales development programs that move high performers into territory assignments. Building experience with CRM tools, completing any manufacturer certification relevant to the target industry, and applying to account coordinator roles at Phoenix-area distributors are the most direct steps.
Where can I find and apply to territory manager jobs in Arizona?
You can find and apply to territory manager jobs in Arizona on Migrate Mate, which lists current Arizona openings across industries and hiring metros. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly to the employer through each listing.
