Territory Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a territory manager in Florida?
Most Florida employers require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, along with prior outside sales or account management experience. Florida does not issue a general territory manager license, but roles in specific industries carry additional requirements: medical device sales may require manufacturer certifications, and pharmaceutical territory managers must comply with Florida Department of Health regulations on sample distribution. Building a verifiable record of quota attainment and familiarity with CRM tools is the most direct path to qualifying.
How much do territory managers make in Florida?
Territory managers in Florida earn a median of about $131,900 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $71,650 for the lowest 10% to over $263,160 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire territory managers in Florida?
Employers hiring territory managers in Florida right now include Carazo Enterprise SL, IQVIA, and US Foods, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's mix of large healthcare systems, hospitality suppliers, and technology firms means territory manager roles appear across a wide range of industries with consistent year-round demand.
Which Florida cities have the most territory manager jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Orlando have the most territory manager openings in Florida. Miami's concentration of medical, retail, and logistics companies drives significant hiring, Tampa's strong mix of financial services and distribution employers adds volume, and Orlando's tourism supply chain and growing tech sector keeps demand steady across all three markets.
Are there remote territory manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, but they're limited. Territory manager roles are inherently field-based, requiring regular in-person visits to clients and accounts across an assigned geography. About 65% of territory manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those positions typically involve inside sales or account coordination responsibilities rather than traditional field coverage.
How can I get hired as a territory manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving up from an inside sales representative or sales development representative role at a Florida-based company, where you build product knowledge and client relationships before taking on a territory. Large Florida employers in food distribution and medical supplies, including Sysco's Florida divisions and regional medical device distributors, regularly hire sales associate or junior account representative roles that feed into territory positions. Completing a manufacturer's product certification or earning a Certified Professional Sales Person credential strengthens an early-career application considerably.
Where can I find and apply to territory manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to territory manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find roles that match your background and preferred region, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
