TN Visa Brand Manager Jobs
Brand Manager roles qualify for TN visa sponsorship under the USMCA's management consultant category, which covers strategic brand planning and market positioning functions. Canadian citizens can apply at the border or a U.S. consulate, while Mexican citizens require a consulate appointment. Employers file no I-129 petition for Canadian applicants, making sponsorship faster than most work visas.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Brand Manager
Align your credentials to the management consultant category
TN approval for Brand Manager roles depends on framing your background under the management consultant occupation. Document how your degree and duties involve advisory, analytical, or strategic planning functions, not just executional marketing tasks.
Target employers with dedicated immigration HR teams
Companies that regularly sponsor work visas have in-house processes for TN support letters. Look for employers in consumer goods, tech, or retail who already have experience with visa sponsorship and cross-border hiring.
Search for TN-sponsored Brand Manager jobs on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters Brand Manager listings by TN visa sponsorship availability, saving you from pitching employers unfamiliar with the process. Use it to identify companies that have actively sponsored TN professionals in marketing and strategy roles.
Get your employer support letter right before crossing
Canadian citizens apply for TN status directly at a port of entry, so your employer's support letter is your filing. It must specify your job title, duties, salary, and the specialty occupation basis. A vague letter is the most common reason CBP officers deny entry.
Clarify your Mexican TN consulate appointment timeline upfront
Mexican citizens must apply through a U.S. consulate, which adds scheduling lead time. Confirm appointment availability at your nearest consulate early in the offer negotiation so your start date accounts for realistic processing windows, not best-case scenarios.
Request a multi-year TN period in your initial approval
TN status can be granted for up to three years at a time. Ask your employer to request the full three-year period in the support letter from day one, reducing how often you and your employer need to coordinate renewals.

Find Brand Manager JobsBrand Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Brand Manager role qualify for TN visa sponsorship?
Brand Manager positions can qualify under the TN management consultant category when your duties involve strategic analysis, brand positioning, and advisory functions rather than purely executional tasks. The job offer letter must clearly describe responsibilities that align with the specialty occupation definition CBP and consular officers apply. Roles heavy on coordination or production without a strategic advisory component are harder to approve.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for Brand Manager roles?
TN is generally faster and more predictable for Canadian and Mexican nationals. There is no annual lottery, no cap for Canadians, and Canadian applicants can receive TN status at a port of entry the same day. H-1B requires an employer to file a petition with USCIS, wait for lottery selection, and then wait for cap-subject processing, which can take six months or more before work can begin.
What documents does my employer need to prepare for my TN application?
Your employer needs to provide a detailed support letter on company letterhead stating your job title, a description of duties that establishes specialty occupation status, your qualifications, the terms of employment, and your intended length of stay. For Mexican citizens, the employer also submits this through the consulate appointment process. For Canadians, the letter is presented directly to the CBP officer at the port of entry.
Where can I find Brand Manager jobs that already support TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals seeking U.S. jobs with TN visa sponsorship. Rather than applying broadly and discovering late in the process that an employer won't support your TN, Migrate Mate surfaces roles from employers who have indicated they sponsor TN status, so you can focus your search on realistic opportunities.
Can I switch Brand Manager employers while on TN status?
Yes, but TN status is tied to your specific employer and role. You cannot begin work with a new employer until new TN status is obtained. Canadian citizens can apply at a port of entry with the new employer's support letter, while Mexican citizens need a new consulate appointment. Timing your transition carefully avoids unauthorized work periods between employers.
