This role will focus on safety and regulatory compliance matters, including product safety, agency inquiries and investigations, recalls, and regulatory engagements. You will serve as a legal advisor partnering with business, compliance, and cross-functional legal teams to help manage regulatory risk across Amazon's Stores and contribute to the strategy for how Amazon identifies and responds to product safety and compliance risk.

You will engage directly with federal and state regulators, building trusted relationships, representing Amazon in high-stakes conversations, and helping position the company as a leader in proactive safety and compliance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

- Experience in technology, retail, manufacturing, logistics, or e-commerce industries.
- Experience independently managing complex commercial transactions and legal matters.

- Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior team members.
