Job Summary
Arsicault is hiring a hands-on Manager-in-Training (MIT) to master our bakery operations and step into store leadership. This developmental role builds complete operational fluency across Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) to prepare you for running your own storefront.
Compensation & Schedule
- Compensation: $30/hr
- Schedule: Full-time, requiring weekend and holiday availability. Typical 5 days a week with start times begin around 7:30 AM for FOH training, and 4:30 AM for BOH training.
What You'll Do
- Shift Leadership: Open and close shifts, supervise FOH line speed, oversee BOH baking schedules, and enforce sanitation standards.
- Cash & Inventory Control: Perform daily cash drawer and safe reconciliations, complete daily inventory logs, and execute weekly cycle counts.
- Administrative Operations: Assist Store Managers with labor scheduling, place vendor orders, code invoices, and shadow monthly P&L reviews.
- Team Management: Supervise crew members, lead hands-on training sessions, and resolve shift coverage gaps.
What We're Looking For
- Growth Mindset: Strong desire to learn both kitchen/baking (BOH) and customer service/barista (FOH) operations.
- Technical & Math Ability: Comfortable with basic math, cash handling, spreadsheets, and learning digital scheduling and inventory tools.
- Communication: Fluent in English with strong service recovery skills under peak-volume pressure.
- Physical Readiness: Able to stand and walk for 8–10 hours daily and safely lift up to 50 lbs.

This position is a bridge to full store management. Your readiness for promotion to Store Manager is formally evaluated every three months based on operational benchmarks, shift efficiency, and leadership mastery.
