How do I get a travel coordinator job in Seattle?
Focus your search on Seattle's dominant hiring sectors: large technology firms in South Lake Union, major health systems like UW Medicine and Providence, and professional services firms headquartered downtown. Corporate travel experience, familiarity with global distribution systems like Sabre or Amadeus, and vendor negotiation skills stand out in this market. Targeting companies with large distributed workforces gives you the strongest entry point.
Which companies hire travel coordinators in Seattle?

Seattle's market skews toward large technology companies, regional healthcare networks, and consulting firms with frequent employee travel needs.
Are there remote travel coordinator jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though availability depends on the role: desk-based coordination and reporting work remote well, while on-site event or group travel roles typically require in-person presence. About 17% of travel coordinator openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. Policy management and vendor relations work tend to be the most remote-compatible functions among Seattle employers.
How can I get a travel coordinator job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is through administrative or operations coordinator roles at mid-size technology companies or healthcare systems, which often handle travel logistics as part of a broader responsibilities mix. Event coordination and executive assistant positions at downtown firms also build the scheduling and vendor skills employers want. Certifications through the Global Business Travel Association strengthen a junior candidate's profile in this market.
