We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, is passionate about delivering positive employee experiences, and enjoys balancing a wide range of responsibilities. This is a full-time position located in our Seattle, WA office.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will:
- Lead the full-cycle onboarding experience, including delivering engaging weekly orientation sessions for new hires.
- Support Talent Acquisition by preparing job postings, coordinating interviews, administering workstyle assessments, facilitating offer letters, and maintaining recruiting dashboard.
- Support our university recruiting program by managing career fair registrations, payments, shipping, and maintaining inventory of marketing items for events.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition and Payroll to ensure seamless onboarding processes, accurate documentation, and timely system updates.
- Provide HRIS support and maintain data accuracy across systems.
- Manage employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, transfers, and updates.
- Maintain and update the HR intranet site.
- Monitor and respond to HR and recruiting inboxes, ensuring timely and helpful support for staff inquiries.
- Support employee engagement initiatives by scheduling discussions, tracking feedback, and reporting insights.
- Assist with maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with documentation practices.
- Contribute to special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- 1-3 years of Human Resources experience (experience in a professional services/consulting environment strongly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- A proactive, learning-oriented mindset with curiosity and initiative.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience with Power BI is a plus.
The hourly rate for this position in Seattle, WA is $24.00-$26.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges annually to ensure we are competitive in the current market.
