How do I get an entry level travel nurse rn job?
Start by completing all required licensure, including passing the NCLEX-RN and obtaining a compact nursing license if your state participates. Staffing agencies that work with travel nurses often accept candidates with as little as one year of acute care experience, but some entry level programs welcome new grads directly. Highlighting clinical rotations, specialty unit exposure, and flexibility with location significantly strengthens your application at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level travel nurse rns?

Both large national staffing agencies and regional healthcare systems post entry level travel assignments, and many offer dedicated new grad programs with additional training and support built into the contract.
Are there remote entry level travel nurse rn jobs?
Yes, though most travel nurse rn roles are on-site by nature. About 0% of entry level travel nurse rn openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, typically covering telehealth, utilization review, or case management assignments that do not require bedside care. These roles are less common at the entry level but do appear for candidates with relevant clinical background.
Are these new grad travel nurse rn jobs?
Yes, the listings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior travel nurse rn roles. A new grad-friendly posting typically welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience and may accept clinical rotations, internships, or a portfolio of specialty placements in place of full-time work history. Look for postings that explicitly mention new grads or training program eligibility.
