Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Urologist.
Practice Highlights:
- Unique opportunity to join well established general urology practice to care for patients alongside a senior Urologist; the practice’s Nurse Practitioner has clinical duties in outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding.
- State-of-the-art linear accelerator and brachytherapy program; Access to advanced technology, including the DaVinci XI Robot.
- Hospital privileges with Riverside Medical Center a community hospital with 300 beds with 24/7 anesthesia coverage and robotics. Opportunity for privileges at Rush University Medical Center for high-risk surgical cases and clinical care. Research opportunities and teaching with a faculty appointment at Rush University may be available for consideration.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clinical Duties: Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, OR cases
- Schedule: Mon-Friday with shared call coverage of 8 days per month with one weekend
Notes and Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is a team-oriented, friendly, and ambitious individual.
- Experience is appreciated, but not required as we are open to recent graduates.
- Valid Illinois Medical License (or ability to obtain IL Medical License).
- Valid Illinois Controlled Substances License (or ability to obtain IL License).
- Board eligible or Board Certified.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay Range: $484,000 - $675,000
