What You’ll Do
Strategic Vendor Leadership Financial Performance
- Own the financial performance of assigned vendors, includingrevenue growth, gross margin percentage, and gross profit dollars.
- Forecast, manage, and oversee incremental vendor funding proposals and rebate programs to support business objectives.
- Use financial, sales, and market data to deliverclear recommendations that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Serve as theprimary point of contact and escalation owner for assigned vendors, managing relationships at the executive level.
- Develop, monitor, and refine vendor business plans that align vendor strategy with TD SYNNEX priorities—both tactically and long‑term.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs), performance discussions, and strategic planning conversations with vendor leadership.
- Identify and drive new opportunities, with a focus on developingnew or enhanced services that combine vendor capabilities with TD SYNNEX solutions to create differentiated value propositions.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to communicate vendor strategies, support demand generation, and execute promotions.
- Provide expert product, program, and market insights to strengthen sales execution and customer outcomes.
- Act as theprimary operational escalation point for vendor lines, proactively resolving issues related to inventory, pricing, programs, or execution.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to recommend and implement effective inventory management strategies.
- Work closely with Sales leadership and field teams to identify new opportunities and remove barriers to success.
- Serve as asubject matter expert (SME) for assigned vendor technologies and programs.
- Mentor, train, and support lower‑level team members or newly onboarded hires, helping to elevate overall team capability and performance.
Experience Education
- 5 years of experience in vendor management, business management, sales strategy, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with experience managing revenue, margin, and vendor funding.
- Proven ability to build and maintainexecutive‑level relationships and negotiate complex agreements.
- Excellent communication skills, including formal presentations to senior leadership.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment, with flexibility for occasional non‑standard hours.
- Proficient with advanced business systems and technology; adaptable and quick to learn new tools.
