Job Description for Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities of Role:
- Work as an Electrical Engineer and develop design of electrical distribution system for FMCG process plant
- Perform power system studies on electrical distribution system of the plant
- Discus with client to align on the project scope
- Collect the required inputs required for developing the required Engineering packages
- Coordinate with various vendors and site construction team for completion of the design packages
- Provide support to study the panels for UL508A compliance
Skills Required:
- Should have worked as an Electrical System Studies Engineer on electrical distribution system for process plants
- Experienced in LV Electrical Distribution Design Power Distribution Panels, Motor Control Centers for process plants in compliance with NEC
- Sound Knowledge of NEC, UL508A and IEEE standards pertaining to electrical equipment, substations, Transformers, 480V panels, MCC, VFDs, Distribution panels, Lighting and grounding design
- Knowledge of Cable sizing, conduit sizing, power and control panel design, lighting calculation, grounding design, cable tray sizing, cable tray layout design
- Develop Engineering information packages, bill of materials, elementary drawings, single line drawings, equipment arrangement
- Knowledge on Electrical Safety requirements
- Develop and lead the IQOQ activities
- Trained and qualified in NFPA70E requirements
