Where you will be working
Resolution Copper has the potential to supply nearly 25% of the US copper demand and create several thousand direct and indirect jobs in the Pioneer Mining District of Arizona, with an economic value of several billion dollars over the estimated mine life.
The project will rely on a technique called block caving to extract the deposit that lies more than 2,000 meters deep. This technique uses gravity to help remove the ore and is the most viable way to recover the resource.
Resolution Copper will continue underground development, conduct extensive drilling and orebody testing, plus maintain the permitting and public engagement process.

Which companies sponsor visas for electricians in Arizona?
Large electrical contractors such as Rosendin Electric, IEC (Integrated Electrical Contractors), and national firms like EMCOR Group have operations in Arizona and have historically sponsored skilled trades workers. Utility companies including Arizona Public Service and Salt River Project, along with major construction firms supporting semiconductor and data center projects in the Phoenix area, are also known to sponsor qualified electricians.
Which visa types are most common for electrician roles in Arizona?
The H-2B visa is the most common path for electricians, as it covers temporary non-agricultural workers in skilled trades. The H-1B generally does not apply to electrician roles because the position typically does not require a specialized bachelor's degree. Some employers with multinational operations may use the TN visa for Canadian or Mexican nationals with qualifying credentials, and the EB-3 immigrant visa category covers skilled workers for permanent positions.
Which cities in Arizona have the most electrician sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix and its surrounding suburbs, including Chandler, Mesa, and Tempe, account for the largest share of electrician sponsorship opportunities, driven by ongoing semiconductor fab construction, commercial development, and data center expansion. Tucson also has steady demand, particularly in industrial and utility sectors. Smaller markets like Scottsdale and Peoria generate openings tied to residential and commercial construction growth in the wider metro area.
How to find electrician visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers looking for visa sponsorship roles in the U.S., including electrician positions in Arizona. You can filter by state and role to see current openings from employers who have indicated sponsorship willingness. Because electrician sponsorship jobs are less commonly advertised than corporate roles, using a platform focused on sponsorship like Migrate Mate helps you avoid wading through listings that will never consider visa candidates.
Are there state-specific considerations for electricians seeking visa sponsorship in Arizona?
Arizona requires electricians to hold a state license issued by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and the specific license grade (apprentice, journeyman, or master) affects which work you can perform independently. Employers sponsoring foreign electricians must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the relevant occupation and county. Arizona's active semiconductor and utility construction pipeline means sponsoring employers often prioritize candidates with industrial or high-voltage experience alongside their visa eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored electrician jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
