Which manufacturing companies sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas in Arizona?
Arizona's largest manufacturing H-1B1 visa Chile sponsors include Intel (Chandler semiconductor fabrication), Honeywell Aerospace (Phoenix and Tucson), Raytheon Technologies (Tucson), ON Semiconductor (Phoenix), and TSMC (Phoenix, currently expanding). Mid-size precision manufacturers and defense contractors in the East Valley also file H-1B1 Labor Condition Applications for Chilean nationals in engineering and technical roles. DOL LCA disclosure data confirms active filings across these employers.
Which cities in Arizona have the most manufacturing H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Chandler and Phoenix lead Arizona for manufacturing H-1B1 Chile sponsorship, driven by the semiconductor corridor anchored by Intel and TSMC. Tucson is the second-largest hub, concentrated in aerospace and defense manufacturing with Raytheon and BAE Systems. Mesa and Tempe add electronics and industrial manufacturing employers. Flagstaff has a smaller but active advanced materials manufacturing presence tied to Northern Arizona University partnerships.
What types of manufacturing roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles qualifying for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in manufacturing must meet the specialty occupation standard, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Common qualifying titles include process engineer, manufacturing engineer, quality systems engineer, industrial engineer, materials scientist, electrical engineer, and controls engineer. Technician or operator roles that do not require a relevant degree generally do not qualify. O*NET occupation profiles can help confirm whether a specific title meets the degree requirement.
How do I find manufacturing H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, you can filter by visa type, industry, and state to surface Arizona manufacturing employers with verified H-1B1 Chile LCA filing history. Because H-1B1 Chile is a non-lottery visa with a dedicated annual allocation for Chilean nationals, identifying employers already familiar with the process is a practical starting point. Migrate Mate surfaces that employer history so you're not applying blind.
Are there any Arizona-specific considerations for manufacturing H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Arizona's Right to Work status and growing semiconductor investment under federal manufacturing incentives have expanded employer willingness to sponsor specialty occupation workers, including H-1B1 Chile holders. Arizona does not impose state-level visa sponsorship restrictions on private employers. However, defense manufacturing roles at companies like Raytheon may require security clearances that are generally unavailable to non-U.S. persons, so Chilean nationals should confirm clearance requirements before applying to classified production positions.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile manufacturing jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
