Which manufacturing companies sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas in Wyoming?
Wyoming's H-1B1 Chile sponsorship activity in manufacturing is concentrated among energy-equipment manufacturers, chemical processors, and food-production facilities. Companies supporting the state's oil, gas, and trona mining industries, including industrial equipment suppliers and specialty chemical firms near Casper and Gillette, have filed Labor Condition Applications for H-1B1 roles. Checking OFLC disclosure data lets you verify which specific employers have an active sponsorship history in the state.
Which cities in Wyoming have the most manufacturing H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Casper leads Wyoming's manufacturing sponsorship activity, anchored by its oil-field services and industrial equipment sector. Cheyenne, as the state capital and a rail hub, hosts food processing and light manufacturing employers. Gillette, at the center of Wyoming's coal and trona operations, supports specialty manufacturing roles tied to mineral extraction. These three cities account for the majority of H-1B1 visa Chile Labor Condition Application filings in the state's manufacturing industry.
How do I find manufacturing H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Wyoming?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa type, industry, and state, so you can search specifically for manufacturing roles in Wyoming where employers have documented H-1B1 Chile sponsorship history drawn from DOL Labor Condition Application data. This saves you from applying to employers who have never filed for H-1B1 Chile workers. Use Migrate Mate's filters to narrow results to Wyoming manufacturing and review each employer's LCA filing record before you apply.
What types of manufacturing roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
H-1B1 Chile sponsorship applies to specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In Wyoming manufacturing, qualifying roles commonly include process engineers, chemical engineers, quality assurance engineers, industrial engineers, and mechanical engineers working in energy-related or chemical processing plants. Production supervisor and general operations roles that do not require a specific degree field typically do not meet the specialty-occupation standard for H-1B1 eligibility. O*NET occupation profiles can help confirm whether a specific role meets that threshold.
Are there any Wyoming-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile manufacturing sponsorship?
Wyoming's manufacturing base is tightly linked to natural resource extraction, meaning most H-1B1 Chile sponsorship activity clusters in energy and chemical processing rather than consumer goods or automotive manufacturing. The state has a small overall labor market, so fewer employers file H-1B1 Labor Condition Applications than in larger industrial states. Chilean nationals should confirm that their employer uses OFLC-certified prevailing wages aligned with Wyoming's regional wage tiers, which USCIS and DOL assess separately from national wage averages.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile manufacturing jobs in Wyoming?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
