ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You are a problem solver—someone who looks to find ways to be more efficient in every corner and who sees every obstacle as a puzzle to be solved. Not only are you a Grade A planner and organizer, but you know how to engage a diverse team, set clear standards, remove barriers, and ensure accountability. You’re no stranger to tight timelines and competing priorities. And you’re a superb communicator, able to interpret data in a relevant way, translate complex technical specifications into concrete requirements, and encourage and equip everyone around you to make sound decisions and do their best work.
Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to develop and drive continuous improvement in the efficiency and accuracy of the collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment processes within assigned National Retail partner Walmart. In this role, you will drive the “end to end” forecasting and replenishment process; ensuring internal controls are in place to develop and deliver forecasted products through our fulfillment centers and forward logistics to meet retailer designated SLA requirements.
Schedule and participate in synchronization meetings with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain Management and assigned retail partners to track variance between the company's sales forecast and retail partner's forecast to drive CPFR efficiency. In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining performance-based store tiering/segmentation, as well as allocation and disposition processes.
- Collaborating with a third party fulfillment center for inventory availability and liaison between fulfillment center and retailer to ensure compliance for on time order shipment.
- Creating strategies and tracking KPI performance to drive continuous improvement against JBP objectives (e.g. forecast accuracy, hit rate, days on hand, IS/OSA, OTIF).
- Designing, maintaining, and automating KPI dashboards by leveraging internal systems retailer portals.
- Driving analysis of sales, financial and operational performance data (e.g., modeling, predictive analytics) to identify key insights and opportunities to improve forecast accuracy.
- Collaborating to build the sales and shipment forecast.
- Aligning forecast assumptions in support of special events (e.g. new product launches, MOD transitions, marquee events).
- Managing gaps between customer POs and retail forecasts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Experience in operations, demand planning, replenishment, outbound supply chain, and/or a relevant analytics role.
- Forecasting experience using a variety of methods to advise future-state planning.
- Willingness to travel approximately up to 25%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Team-oriented and strong interpersonal capabilities; ability to build relationships (internal/external) and interact effectively with other departments and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to multitask.
- Process-oriented and ability to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Experience with aggregating and summarizing large amounts of historical data and identifying trends or business opportunities.
- SQL Expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI and Query.
- Mastery of MS Excel required - VBA preferred.
- Knowledge of data warehousing.
- Retail, E-com, or startup experience.
- Statistical modeling (Linear Regression/K-means).
- Strong leadership skills and outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.

Which companies in Arkansas sponsor visas for project management consultants?
Walmart Global Tech in Bentonville is among the most active sponsors for project management roles in Arkansas, given its scale of technology and supply chain initiatives. Defense and aerospace contractors operating near Little Rock, along with healthcare systems such as UAMS and Baptist Health, have also filed Labor Condition Applications for project management positions. Consulting firms with Arkansas-based client engagements occasionally sponsor as well.
Which visa types are most common for project management consultant roles in Arkansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for project management consultants in Arkansas, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Canadian and Mexican nationals frequently use the TN visa under the USMCA, which has no annual cap. Candidates with multinational employer relationships may also qualify for the L-1 intracompany transferee category.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most project management consultant sponsorship jobs?
Bentonville and the broader Northwest Arkansas corridor generate the highest concentration of project management consultant roles, driven largely by Walmart's headquarters and its extensive supplier and technology ecosystem. Little Rock, as the state capital, is the second-largest hub, with demand coming from state government contractors, healthcare organizations, and financial services firms. Fayetteville adds additional opportunities tied to the University of Arkansas and regional business growth.
How to find project management consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse project management consultant roles in Arkansas without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can search by state and role type to see current openings from employers who have a documented history of filing for work visas. This saves significant time compared to manually researching individual companies' sponsorship histories.
Are there state-specific considerations for project management consultants seeking sponsorship in Arkansas?
Arkansas does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal obligations, but project management consultants should be aware that prevailing wage levels in Arkansas generally reflect a lower cost-of-living market compared to coastal states. Employers must still meet Department of Labor prevailing wage standards when filing a Labor Condition Application. The University of Arkansas and Arkansas State University also produce graduates who sometimes transition into sponsored consultant roles through OPT before securing H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management consultant jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
