Which companies sponsor visas for growth marketing managers in California?
Technology companies account for the largest share of growth marketing manager sponsorships in California. Employers such as Google, Meta, Salesforce, Adobe, Snap, and Airbnb have consistent histories of filing H-1B visa petitions for marketing roles. Enterprise software, fintech, and consumer app companies in the Bay Area and Los Angeles are generally the most active sponsors for this specific role.
Which visa types are most common for growth marketing manager roles in California?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for growth marketing managers in California, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN visa status under the USMCA. Australians may be eligible for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is available year-round.
Which cities in California have the most growth marketing manager sponsorship jobs?
San Francisco and the broader Bay Area lead the state for growth marketing manager sponsorship volume, driven by the density of technology and SaaS companies headquartered there. Los Angeles is the second major hub, particularly in consumer tech, streaming, and e-commerce. San Diego has a smaller but active market, concentrated in biotech and direct-to-consumer brands.
How to find growth marketing manager visa sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse growth marketing manager roles in California without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and role to see which California employers are actively hiring international candidates for growth marketing manager positions, saving significant time in the job search process.
Are there any California-specific considerations for growth marketing managers seeking sponsorship?
California's high concentration of venture-backed startups means some sponsoring employers are smaller companies, which can affect the speed and resourcing of the H-1B petition process compared to large enterprises. California also hosts several university pipelines, including UC Berkeley and UCLA, that produce candidates familiar with OPT timelines, so many California employers have existing processes for transitioning international marketing hires to H-1B status.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth marketing manager jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
